WHEN YOU PAY FOR THERAPY YOU ARE NOT JUST PAYING FOR THE TIME IN YOUR SESSION

You're paying for all of the training, education, and specialization that went into the clinician that sits before you.  I was in school and training for 12 years before I became a Clinical Psychologist.  That's not counting the ongoing coursework, training and consultation that I continue to engage in every month.

With stagnant and even decreasing reimbursement rates from insurance companies many clinicians try to make up for their lost income by taking on more clients.  In order for me to have integrity as a clinician I limit to my case load.  This way I can ensure the last person I see in a day receives the same level of care and attentiveness as the first person who came that morning.

COST OF SERVICES

The cost of therapy may seem expensive, but it is also an investment in YOU.

I believe therapy should be the single most productive use of your time, and I want you back out in the world living the life you deserve.

I am a contracted provider with Preferred One, Health Partners, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Minnesota Medicaid plans (which means I can accept PMAP plans serviced by Health Partners and BCBS).  While I am in network with these companies, this does not guarantee that I will be an in-network provider for your particular policy or plan.  Please contact your insurance company to check if I am in your network.

If I am not in your network, then do not fear!  You can pay me directly and then seek out-of-network benefits from your insurance policy.  I recommend Better (www.getbetter.co), which is a company that helps you receive the out-of-network benefits your policy may offer.

Intake session: $200 (An in-depth interview requiring additional clinician time outside of session)

55 Minute Therapy Session: $160

45 Minute Therapy Session: $130

Payment is due at the time of service.

24 HOUR CANCELATION POLICY

I ask you notify me at least 24 hours before your appointment time.  If someone does not provide me adequate notice, then I cannot offer that time slot to someone else who may benefit from it.  As a consequence, there is a $100 fee for late cancellations or no shows.
